I love the art and the sfx. The actual gameplay is a bit hard, and I feel like spawning into the level the wrong way can insta-kill you unfairly. I replayed until I cleared at least 10 aisles (got to 13!) so I got to try out most of the upgrades. Tentacles ftw 😏

Having lots of fun playing! I'd like the option to see what the different skills/magic do while in combat because it can be hard to remember all of them. I like that we can change the character classes out for a change of pace.

A really solid intro. Nice!!

I love the Paper Mario feel! I wish there was a map function so we could see where we have been. I feel like I've been going in circles for a long time, and the rooms are similar enough to where I can't see where to go. I'm glad I tried switching browsers because that helped the lag.

I've been bringing the bonus stars to the exit, but the medals aren't registering. Cute game~

Try refreshing the game with CTRL+F5 and then you should get the medal at the main menu!

If you hit the spikes the wrong way or fall off the sides of the level, it crashes and you must restart the whole game (shift+R doesn't work in the event of a crash). Because of this, it's not really playable. I got a few levels in, but it just crashed too many times to justify replaying. I'd like to see this fixed because it seems fun!

I think the child should be controlled with arrow keys and the horse with WASD or the other way around. Separate controls would make the gameplay more intuitive.

Additionally, what's the story behind this? Do all horses teleport in this world or is this one special? Is the child on a quest for something? Adding an intro answering such questions would definitely add to the appeal.

It's way too easy to die, like 90% of the things in this game will kill us (even the flowers?)
The concept of attaching floating islands is pretty interesting, though the collection of resources without lore seems a bit trite and colonial. I would have liked to see more metaphorical world-building such as in your Cursed Travels game. Maybe I'll change my mind if I can manage to progress more in the game.

the pp egg god was kind of hard, but i got lucky on one of my runs for those little sludge guys didn't appear. love the colours!!
