It seems like the details of our past actions don't matter because
1) The 3-headed rat taught the team how to tie fancy knots, and it was immediately followed by a situation where a kid cannot tie his own shoes.
2) I leveled up my dark magic several times, yet they had to use a witch coven to bring a scarecrow back to life.
And so on...
The dark humor is great, but my choices feel almost irrelevant.

neiltylerfloyd responds:

Thanks so much for playing! Those are all valid points. We were going for more “cartoon logic” while making the game, instead of every little choice being reflected in every subsequent training event. Rest assured absolutely every choice you make contributes to the endings you can get after the third day. Try to get them all!

edit: it was pretty fun! didn't notice the full screen option but it would have made the boss battle easier lol. i also do not understand the purpose of the first gun, as it becomes useless after getting the cannon.

Fortythreesam responds:

You can press f to go into full screen. Hope that helps if you go back. The first weapon becomes useless but I might try make it more useful again in the future

It's unnecessarily difficult to the point of not being fun. I brute-forced my way through level 4 & level 5 seems impossible for me. I did enjoy the tutorial and hoped the rest of the game would be more lighthearted and funny like that.

Vidyabatter responds:

run from sexy hiker in level 5 AAAAAAHHH!!!!!! SCARY!!!!

Just the cinnamon bun challenge left...

BoMToons responds:

Good luck... only about 1 in 1000 achieve it...

It has a great balance of disturbing and charming. The awkward silences before dialogue were my favorite part!

OrangePylon responds:

Thanks! Can't have all that smut without any charming characters to back it up.

The real science was the DEERCARCASS we made along the way!

Also, shoudn't the title be "Randy Teaches Science" ?

Dungeonation responds:

This is true - Children’s entertainment marketing was weird in the 90’s I suppose. Didn't want kids to think they were learning directly from someone...?

I love the stretchy neck glitches and the chaotic energy of this game.
However, I tried replaying the levels where i missed an ostrich, and they do not always update the number even I win.

MonoFlauta responds:

Oh, sorry to hear that. We will check it out. Thanks for playing it though and glad you could enjoy the rest!

Just missing the 5th fish and the Mekong Catfish. Any tips/hints?

Karlestonchew responds:

You got two of the boss fish left! Ones in the lake and ones in the river. Good luck!

The double-jump only worked some of the time and then stopped altogether at one point.
Then I got to an area that said to defeat a boss, but no boss ever came! Izzy just sat there as epic boss music played & I had to quit. The voice acting and music were good, but the game was unplayable for me.

scottwjsm responds:

Thanks for the feedback. Double-jumping is activated as a wall jump but it's my bad that wasn't clear in the beginning. The boss not appearing happened once for me and it has something to do with construct messing up with the object count. Which is weird because I rebuilt the game a week ago so that the runtime is smoother for everyone. I will do my best to fix this

This reminds me of those car parking games. The controls are definitely not "impossible" like some people say, and I assume the difficulty and frustration are parts of the challenge? For me, the lacking thing was the story.... There was no logical or creative reason why we needed fireflies, coffee, trophy, etc.

aeveis responds:

I had updated the game that made the controls easier, so some comments are about the previous iteration of controls. But yeah the game is mostly about the controls.

In terms of the story, your conclusion is sort of the point. You're roped into helping Izzy do these tasks, and while Curly is willing to help (as the player is willing to play), you find that Izzy is really just making you do stuff and probably messing with you a bit. Sometimes with family/siblings, that's how it is until you are done and can take a break.
